Statment of the Head
Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God. May God bless him, his family, and those who follow him. Under the wise leadership of our nation, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his loyal Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, our country’s universities have achieved a distinguished status both regionally and globally due to the ongoing support they receive. We aspire to further achievements that align with our nation's vision of prosperity as outlined in Vision 2030.
Our university, Northern Border University, is a young institution advancing with confidence and purpose to reach its goals, guided by our wise leadership. The College of Education stands out as one of its esteemed educational institutions, where everyone collaborates under the direction of its respected dean, functioning as a unified team.
The role of the Department of Islamic Studies is to realize its vision, mission, and objectives, which align with those of the college and the university, all within the framework of Vision 2030. This aims to cultivate an Islamic character among students that is rooted in moderation, open-mindedness, and dialogue with other civilizations. We are committed to promoting citizenship, loyalty, and a sense of belonging to our homeland, while also emphasizing respect for authority and striving for excellence in our educational, research, and administrative practices. Our goal is to prepare graduates who are well-equipped academically, professionally, and educationally for the labor market, while also fostering connections with the community and addressing its issues through research, training, and various activities.
